Current road closures in Saxon Switzerland

On the website, you can access a detailed page with further information about each closure. ‘Active’ means that the closure is currently valid. You can view closures that are no longer valid by unchecking ‘Active warnings only’ and reloading the page. On the interactive map, you can click on each closure to see a brief summary. The green dotted line indicates a diversion, if available. You can also click on the diversion to display some important information.

Increased risk of falling trees

In the national park, many paths are dangerous due to dead trees and falling deadwood, especially in windy or rainy conditions. Some highly dangerous paths are temporarily impassable and should not be used for safety reasons. Visitors must stay on the paths; only marked and signposted paths may be used in the core zone.
